  3.  Use Cut to move items to the Clipboard.
  4. When working with database records you can use Cut  to remove highlighted text from a record 
  5. field and place it in the Clipboard. Use Paste subsequently to place the text in another field. 
  6. The item remains in the Clipboard until something else replaces it.

  8. When working with labels you can use  Cut to place  any active item or multiple items (barcodes, 
  9. pictures, text lines, graphic elements,etc.) to the Clipboard.
  10. To cut an item: Activate the item with the Item tool and choose Cut. Paste subsequently can 
  11. be used to place them into the same or another document or another application.

  13. The keyboard shortcut for Cut is Command-X.
